Notes A view of the Jetty and foreshore of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Yarmouth was a popular subject for artists during the nineteenth century. The foreground of this view is populated by fishermen, shipwrights, sailors, and holiday-makers. Two coaches and a horse and buggy ride along the shore, and numerous ships and small craft sail in and out of the bay.

Condition: Trimmed to plate mark. Slight scuffing and creasing to top of plate and top margin.
