What do you sell?

We sell a wide range of antique prints and maps.  We also sell hand printed works by contemporary British printmakers living and working today.


Do you sell reproductions?

No.


Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, all of our prints are guaranteed to be as described.




Do you offer a certificate of authenticity?

Yes.  You may request one with your order.




Do you buy antique prints and maps?

Yes we do!  We buy individual items and collections.  If you have something to sell please email us.




Do you offer a valuation service?

No we do not offer a valuation service.  Please contact your local auctioner.




What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, bank/wire transfer (Transferwise for non-sterling transactions), VIsa, Mastercard, American Express..




Do you ship?

Yes we do.

Postage Charges 2020

For your peace of mind (and ours!), all of our parcels are sent to you fully insured. Our standard parcels are sent using Royal Mail’s Tracked and Signed services. Larger or more valuable items are sent by courier. If you require tracking details, or an update on your parcel, please let us know via the contact tab above

In most cases, we prefer to send our items flat, securely packed in layers of thick double-wall cardboard. All of our packing card and paper is FSC certified sustainable, and is fully recyclable.* In the small number of cases where extra packing material, such as bubble wrap or foam, is required, we reuse existing packing from our own deliveries, and encourage you to do the same.

Unfortunately we are unable to ship framed items with their glass. Please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact tab above if you have any questiosn regarding shipping framed items.

*At present we are still using up our back-stock of plastic packing tape, which is not recyclable, but will be transitioning to paper-based tape as soon as possible.

 

Prices for postage, packing, and insurance are as follows:

United Kingdom:

Items under £50 in value and smaller than 30 x 40 x 5 cm when packed

               Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Small Parcel - £10

Items under £500 in value and smaller than 40 x 60 x 5 cm when packed

               Royal Mail Special Delivery Medium Parcel - £15

Items over £500 and/or larger than 40 x 60 x 5cm when packed

                Courier - £20

International:

Items under £250 in value and smaller than (height + length + width) of 90cm and with no side longer than 60cm when packed.

                To Europe: Royal Mail International Signed Parcel - £25

                To Rest of World: Royal Mail International Signed Parcel - £30

Items over £250 in value and/or larger than a Royal Mail International parcel will be sent by courier. Prices are determined on an individual basis, by value and volumetric size.

We will provide you with a shipping quote upon the confirmation of your order.




How do you calculate your shipping  charge?

Packing and shipping is charged on an individual order basis.  Our charges are based on the size, weight, value of item(s), desitination, and method of shipping.  As our prints and maps come in all different, are mounted, and loose prices vary.  We will contact you directly with a shipping quote one we have received your order.




What if I am unhappy with my order?

You may return your items provided that you notify us within 14 days from the date of purchase, which is the date of payment as printed on your invoice.

Any items returned must be sent by registered, prepaid, first class post (airmail overseas) or via courier and must be fully insured.

We will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to the items returned, excluding the cost of delivery, unless the items were not as described or defective; in which case we will reimburse you for the the delivery.

We reserve the right to make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

Please note that your right to return products does not apply to personalised or made to order products, which cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
