I Canto 3 George Percy Jacomb-Hood (Redhill, Surrey, 1857 - Chelsea, 1929) was a genre painter, illustrator and engraver. He was a member of the Society of British Artists. Hood studied at the Slade and under Lavery in Paris. He lived at 112 Lexham Gardens, Kensington. Hood was a member of The Arts Club between 1888-1910. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1879, the Grosvenor Gallery, the Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists from 1885 and in Winter 1886-87 and Winter 1887-88. He was also a member of the New English Art Club for a while. |
