This is a proof with the initials A.P (Ambrose Poynter) indented into the bottom right hand side corner. St Katherines was a Hospital and Church postitoned next to The Tower of London founded in 1147 by Queen Matilda. The hospital was to be demolished in 1825 to build St Katherine's Dock. |
