Notes A triple portrait of J. H. Taylor, James Braid and Harry Vardon, Winners of the Open Golf Championship, fourteen times between them. They went on to be known as the 'Great Triumvirate' due to their continued success. Between them they went on to co-found the British Professional Golfer's Association.
