Notes A lettered diagram of an olive press from the English version of Noel Antoine Pluche's 'Spectacle de la Nature' (1736).

J. Mynde (1702 - 1771) was a British engraver. Working in London, he owned a large studio, and could charge up to 60 guineas for an apprentice. He was responsible for numerous book illustrations and later became an engraver to the Royal Society.

Condition: Two vertical creases in sheet. Overall foxing.
