From G. B. Depping's L'Angleterre ou Description Historique et Topographique de Royaume Uni de La Grande-Bretagne (1823 - 1835). A scarce and highly decorative miniature map of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire featuring emblems relating to each county. Aristide Michel Perrot (1793-1879) was a prolific nineteenth century French cartographer and essayist, a member of the 'Société royale académique des sciences', and the 'Société de géographie'. He is best known for his decorative miniature maps of British counties and the Departments of France. |
