Notes A portrait of Rebecca Howse (nee Wildgoose) (1737-1818) flower seller at Oxford. Otherwise known as Mother Goose of Oxford. She was an ex-procuress, who became blind and married a William Howse who then led her around Oxford selling flowers. She was a well known character, affectionately called 'Flora' by the students.

Condition: Small lose on lower left corner, small tear in right not affecting the image.
