Notes A lithographic vignette of Great Malvern Priory, looking across the swan pond from the far side of Priory Park. The title makes reference to the Chalybeate spring, an iron-rich spring the waters of which were prescribed for a variety of ailments and medical complaints.

Henry Lamb (fl. 1834-1861) was a British printmaker and publisher, best known for his lithographic views of Malvern and Cheltenham. His works were issued locally, from the Royal Library Malvern and from the 'Fancy Repository' on the Cheltenham High St.

Condition: Minor time toning to edges of sheet.
