Edouard Traviès (1809 - 1876) was a French animal painter and illustrator. He also painted wateroclours, regularly exhibiting his work at the Salon between 1831 and 1866. Traviès produced several lithographs for the La Vènerie, Souvenirs de Chasse series.

Condition: Small tear to top margin, not affecting image.
