Jacob George Strutt (1784 - 1867) was an etcher primarily of trees. He was the husband of the writer Elizabeth Strutt, and father of the painter, traveller and archeologist Arthur John Strutt. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1822 to 1852.

Condition: Upper margin trimmed diagonally, to plate for 4cm on the far right. Minor tears to the remaining margins none of which affect the plate. Some surface dirt.
