Georges Huardel-Bly (b.1872) was a French engraver and etcher. Born in Orleans, France, he travelled extensively through Europe, documenting his travels in the form of highly detailed etchings and drypoints. Huardel-Bly was a prolific printmaker, particularly during his years spent in England where his etchings were very popular. Settling for a time in Brighton, he was sought out by the wealthy and famous for his skill as a silhouette artist.

Condition: Spot of ink to top edge of plate. Tears to left and right margins. Crease to left margin coming in to the plate.
