A scene, possibly in Cambridge, showing a couple in a small row boat on a river. In the background is a small bridge crossing the river, with sparse trees either side of the river. The artist Robert Farren (1832-1912) was a topographical etcher and illustrator. Farren exhibited 1880 to 1890 lived and worked in Cambridge where he owned a print business, moved to Scarborough in 1889 for his health. Condition: Slight toning to sheet. |
