Her kimono features an intricate floral pattern and her hair is up in an elaborate bun held into place with several decorative pins. She is depicted most likely holding a wallet between her teeth gazing up at the full moon.

Gokyoro Chikayoshi was a Japanese artist active in the mid to late 19th Century.

Condition: Backed onto Japanese paper, light creasing to sheet, some time toning to sheet, stain from previous mount, two stains to moon.
