Notes The old Whittington College almshouses at the foot of Highgate Hill built by the Mercers' Company in 1822 in a very early example of Gothic Revival style. In 1966 it was taken down and moved to Felbridge, Surrey from Shepherd's London and its Environs in the Nineteenth Century.
