An interesting map showing the Siege of Sevastopol showing the Positions of the Allied Armies Besieging Sevastopol, from drawings made on the Spot with scales in English and Russian Miles, and a list of Wyld's new publications in the lower right. Wyld had a showroom devoted to the Crimean War that contained a raised relief map with modle troops which were moved daily to show troop movements. Condition: Some over all surface dust and some light creasing. Manuscript note centre bottom. Laid to linen. |
