Notes A curious scene showing the members of a jury viewing the body of a murder victim. Looking inside the victim's stomach, which has been opened in his post-mortem, following his death ingesting a large amount of snuff, they bicker amongst themselves about the case. Inscription under print as follows; 'The J_y viewing the body of John P_l, who was murdered by some villain or villains pouring several ounces of snuff mixed in beer down his throat. Verdict. Died from suffocation.'

Condition: Paper wear. Fading to inscription. Tiime toning and surface dirt.
