A view of Grand Pont, usually called Folly Bridge from 'The Microcosm of Oxford Containing A series of Views of the Churches, Colleges, Halls & other Public Buildings of the University and City of Oxford'. Nathaniel Whittock (1791-1860) was lithographer to the University of Oxford. He was born in Oxford but moved to London in 1828. His nephew, Henry Hyde, was also an engraver. Condition: Small hole to top margin. |
