Notes From Tombleson's Views of the Thames and Medway.

William Tombleson (1795-1846) was a British artist, illustrator, engraver, and printmaker. He is best know for his 'Views of the Thames and Medway,' and the famous 'Tombleson's Panoramic Map of the Thames' published by J. Reynolds.

Henry Winkles (1801–1860) was an English architectural illustrator, engraver and printer, who, together with Karl Ludwig Frommel founded the first studio for steel engraving in Germany.
