Notes An early nineteenth century map of Cornwall, engraved for Excursions in the County of Cornwall by Frederick Wilton Litchfield Stockdale. The map is very detailed, marking roads and landmarks in addition to towns and villages. A pair of keys in the bottom right corner provide details of the various topographical features, as well as the Hundreds. A boxed map of the Scilly Isles is inset below the title cartouche.

James Bingley (1796-1869) was a British engraver, stationer, and publisher, best known for contributing plates to Thomas Moule's county atlas.

Condition: Vertical folds, as issued. Minor time toning to edges of sheet. Blank on verso.
