An view of Copenhagen from the port in lovely original early 19th century colouring with ships in the foreground. Robert Laurie worked in partnership with James Whittle and continued Robert Sayer's prolific and well-established business on Fleet Street, issuing prints, maps, illustrated books, charts, and nautical works. Condition: Sheet laid to an early 19th century light card album page, inkstains in left margin and plate space but not affecting the image, paper crease upper left in plate and margin not affecting the image. |
