Clarendon Printing House and Theatre from Whittock's 'The Microcosm of Oxford Containing A series of Views of the Churches, Colleges, Halls & other Public Buildings of the University and City of Oxford'. Nathaniel Whittock (1791-1860) was lithographer to the University of Oxford. He was born in Oxford but moved to London in 1828. His nephew, Henry Hyde, was an engraver. Condition: Toning to sheet edges. Spot of rust to title area. |
