Samuel Neele was an engraver, copperplate and lithographic printer operating in London between 1758-1824. He worked alone, as well as in various partnerships with family members from his printery at 352 Strand, 'near Exeter Change.' In his later life, he partnered almost exclusively with his son James, working under the prolific 'Neele & Son' imprint.

Condition: Trimmed within plate mark, some surface dirt to lower half of sheet.
