Notes A view of Bern, the de facto capital of Switzerland, as seen from the Enge neighbourhood in Zurich, possibly from the Belvoirpark. The view features the historic red railway bridge running over the Aare river, now replaced by the Lorraine viaduct, overlooking the city centre and its many spires, with the Oberland Alps in background. The names of the most notable mountains and their respective heights are noted above the image.
