An exhibition of prints from one of the last frontiers of British Art - the Victorian etching. This is one of the first opportunities to view the full range of etching produced during the Queen’s reign.
Featuring works by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, William Holman Hunt, Sir Francis Seymour Haden, James Abbott McNeill Whistler, Charles West Cope, George Henry Mason, William Bell Scott, Axel Haig, David Law, Herbert Dicksee, and a large selection of Robert Walker Macbeth and his circle .
Also included are etchings by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and by members of the Etching Clubs and the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.
