NotesA map of Wales printed on two separate sheets.

Cary, John (1755-1835) English cartographer, engraver, globe maker and publisher. Worked with his brother George. Apprenticed to William Palmer 1770; surveyor of roads to the general post office, 1794. Best known for his English county atlases; amongst others - Cary's New and Correct English Atlas 1787-1789; engraved the plates for Robert Gough's edition of Camden's Britannia, 1789, 1806.

Condition: Vertical centre fold as issued. Slight burn marks from image suface visable where map has been folded. Some minor spotting.
